The Service is a free tool that shows the distance, elevation range, total ascent, and an elevation profile for a route you draw on the map or load from a GPX file. Its content may change, and it may be suspended or discontinued, without notice.

Accuracy of the numbers

The elevation, elevation range, total ascent, and slope shown by the Service are approximate values based on map data or a GPX file, and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

• They may differ from actual road conditions, terrain, and small undulations.
• For disaster prevention, mountaineering, or safety decisions, always check official information and the actual conditions as well.

Use of map and elevation data

The Service uses Google Maps Platform to display maps and to obtain routes and elevation. The following Google terms and policies apply to your use of the Service.

Prohibited conduct
